It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of a dear friend and colleague, CATS co-founder Louise Danieli.

Like many of you who had the privilege of learning under Louise’s tutelage, we will be forever grateful to Louise for her friendship, counsel and mentorship.

Tracie Blair, B.A., R.Ac., RMT
Director/Instructor

Tracie is a Massage Therapist and a Registered Acupuncturist. Tracie has owned and operated a thriving multi-practitioner clinic in Winnipeg, Manitoba since 1998. Tracie’s deep conviction in the power of synchronizing complementary therapies has led her to incorporate a broad range of modalities into her practice, including Reflexology, Meridian Reflexology, Low Intensity Laser Therapy, Electrotherapy, Myofascial Release and, of course, Acupuncture. Since completing her acupuncture diploma, Tracie has immersed herself in the study of different philosophies of acupuncture. Tracie prides herself on respect of the ancient traditions while incorporating the more modern styles of treatment when applicable.

In addition to providing relief from chronic and acute pain, Tracie specializes in the treatment of Shen disorders, helping patients benefit from greater harmony and balance through her highly personalized integration of Eastern and Western approaches to treatment.

 

Shenan Hartwell, R.Ac, RMT
Director/Instructor

Shenan is a Registered Massage Therapist and Registered Acupuncturist. She has practiced Massage Therapy for over ten years and has been honoured with the MTAM Merit Award. Shenan has been working with the College of Acupuncture and Therapeutics since 2010. She believes in holistic, multi-modality approach to treatment that is focused on each individual's unique needs. The focus of her practice is centred on women's issues, pediatrics, chronic illness, and trauma based head injuries delivered via an integrative approach which combines acupuncture with massage, fascial work and bodywork. Shenan has received training in cranial sacral therapy, Chinese/meridian reflexology, channel therapy, cupping, spirit points and neuromenengial manipulation. She is currently expanding her acupuncture practise to incorporate Kiiko style assessment, which is based upon Kiiko Matsumatso's approach derived from her studies with Master Nagano. Shenan is also interested in Korean Hand Therapy.
