An intensive educational experience in acupuncture for professionals with the unique ability to specialize in your given field.
Any classes missed must be made up prior to receiving certification. Missing more than one class may require waiting until the course is offered again to maintain the 250 hour program.
Full payment of all financial obligations must be fulfilled prior to certification.
The written and practical exams are included in the tuition. Failure in either will require the student to take the exam over at an additional charge (within two months from the last class). Written $150. Practical $300. Failure a second time in either exam will require the student to retake that part of the course at a prorated price.
Classes will start at scheduled times and students are expected to arrive on time. Students are asked to refrain from wearing perfumes and heavily scented body lotions or aftershave. Cell phones and pagers must be turned off during class time. Client confidentiality must be maintained. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. The student may be asked to leave the class and will be required to make it up later.
Cheating, plagiarism and dishonesty will result in expulsion from the course.
Harassment and discrimination in any form will not be tolerated and will result in expulsion from the course. This includes but is not limited to behavior that is offensive embarrassing or humiliating. This includes verbal or physical threats, and derogatory comments.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. There is a $40 fee for any NSF Cheque.
Students wishing to transfer into a different course are required to pay the deposit, regardless of monies already paid towards a course.
The school reserves the right to cancel the course's program if there is insufficient enrolment. Should the program be cancelled by the College of Acupuncture & Therapeutics Inc., the applicant will receive a complete refund of the deposit and monies paid.
